History
Touchstone Mental Health was founded in 1982 by social workers from the University of Minnesota who developed residential services for older adults living with a serious mental illness. But our work did not stop there.
Over the past 40 years, Touchstone has grown into a multi-faceted organization providing an array of mental health services including Community Housing Services, Residential Treatment and Community Mental Health. Our programs serve over 1,600 individuals in seven locations across the Twin Cities metro area.
Touchstone is a leader in developing innovative services, funding models and strong partnerships so we can meet the needs of people living with a mental illness.
