Touchstone Mental Health, then known as Community Care Corporation, was founded in 1982 by five social workers interested in developing residential services for older adults living with serious mental illness. Over the last three decades, Touchstone Mental Health has expanded from a small organization to a multifaceted agency providing an array of services for people with a variety of mental health needs.
Since its inception, Touchstone has been committed to treating the whole person by integrating physical and mental health with health and wellness practices. We offer health assessments and fitness education for people with mental illnesses. Touchstone uses integrative and expressive therapies such as art, movement, music and nature based therapy to improve mental health. We have also incorporated research in neuroscience, architecture and design wherever possible in our residential programs to create calm, safe spaces for residents to live.
Touchstone is honored to have been recognized with many awards for our innovative services and success.
