Assisted Living Apartments

Sixty-eight year old Ray has experienced serious mental illness throughout his life. For 38 years he endured many treatments, diagnoses, health concerns, and precarious living conditions. Moving into Touchstone’s Rising Cedar Apartments, Ray felt like he was back in his community. He is connected with others, enjoys the healing garden, and has access to Health and Wellness services to help manage his mental and physical health challenges. He has his own apartment, his independence, and finally feels like he is in control of his own life. Ray knows this is home, something he hasn’t been able to say for a long time.

Community support is also at the center of recovery at the New Hope Apartments. Like Rising Cedar, residents also form friendships and reach new levels of purpose and achievement as they work, volunteer, participate in community activities and improve their physical and mental health. The strong sense of community helps residents feel empowered and supported as they rely on a network dedicated to helping them reach the goals they set.

Who We Serve

Touchstone’s Assisted Living Apartments serve people 18 and over with a serious mental illness who need 24-hour supportive housing and care.

Assisted Living Admissions

Assisted Living referrals typically come from a Case Manager through Hennepin County, however, we are not currently taking Assisted Living referrals or names for our waiting list.
